Our Shared Journey Toward Shalom

The journey toward God’s Shalom is one which we share and travel toward together as God’s people. We are both recipients and agents of God’s Shalom in and for all of God’s creation and creatures. According to Harvey Conn and Manuel Ortiz in their book, “Urban Ministry: The Kingdom, the City and the People of God”, “The shalom of God has to do with being right in relationships with God, our neighbor and our environment. It involves enjoying life with others and ourselves (Is. 11:6-8), a harmonious relationship with God (Is. 2:2-3), harmonious relationships with nature (Is. 25:6).”
