Neo-Calvinism’s Common Grace and the Emergent Church

Vince Bacote from Wheaton College presented a paper at the Evangelical Theological Society and then again at Covenant College entitled A Neo-Kuyperian Assist to the Emergent Church which Bob Robinson posted on his Vanguard Church blog (one of my favorites!). Bacote articulates what I have sensed and picked up on in much of what I have read from “emergent types” (McLaren, McKnight, etc.). I definitely think both perspectives complement and strengthen each other in many ways.
