Once again Tony Campolo does what he does so very well in this piece he wrote in the Huffington Post,i.e, he makes you think and question that which too often goes and has gone unquestioned. In this particular case, he explains how our “good works” as American Christians is doing more harm than good by keeping people dependent instead of empowering them. The focus of his criticism has to do with how we have done and are doing this in Haiti. We seem to have a difficult time changing from a problem solving and need based focus to an asset identifying and developing focus. I wonder why that is???
