A National Day of Prayer for the Crisis in the Gulf of Mexico

If you’re anything like me, the continual gushing of oil in the Gulf leaves you feeling more than a little frustrated and increasingly helpless. Perhaps you too have wondered if there was something you should be doing. Send money to support the cleanup effort? Write a letter to President Obama?  Take time off to volunteer in the cleanup effort?  While actions like these are important and needed, it just doesn’t feel like it would really make much of a difference.

Well, the Evangelical Environmental Network is organizing a National Day of Prayer for Creation Care. The focus will be on the continuing crisis of oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico and the impact it is having. Please consider signing up and participating in this important event on behalf of God’s creation by clicking on the following link:  National Day of Prayer for Creation Care.
